Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR & Legal Executive to join our team. This role involves managing key HR functions while supporting the legal compliance and documentation needs of the company. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HR operations, Sri Lankan labor laws, and corporate legal procedures, with the ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
- Handle payroll inputs and attendance tracking.
- Organize training and development programs.
- Support employee engagement, performance management, and HR policy implementation.
- Address employee queries and ensure a positive work culture.
Legal
- Draft and review employment contracts, agreements, and internal policies.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company regulations, and legal standards.
- Liaise with external legal counsel when required.
- Manage documentation related to disciplinary actions, terminations, and grievances.
- Monitor regulatory updates and support internal audits.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications in HRM or Law (LLB/Diploma in HR or Industrial Law) will be an advantage.
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices in Sri Lanka.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
