Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR & Legal Executive to join our team. This role involves managing key HR functions while supporting the legal compliance and documentation needs of the company. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HR operations, Sri Lankan labor laws, and corporate legal procedures, with the ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

    Human Resources

    • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
    • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
    • Handle payroll inputs and attendance tracking.
    • Organize training and development programs.
    • Support employee engagement, performance management, and HR policy implementation.
    • Address employee queries and ensure a positive work culture.


    Legal

    • Draft and review employment contracts, agreements, and internal policies.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company regulations, and legal standards.
    • Liaise with external legal counsel when required.
    • Manage documentation related to disciplinary actions, terminations, and grievances.
    • Monitor regulatory updates and support internal audits.


What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications in HRM or Law (LLB/Diploma in HR or Industrial Law) will be an advantage.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices in Sri Lanka.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
